To borrow library materials, all faculty, staff, and students must acquire a valid Detroit Mercy ID card from the Titan Information Center on the first floor of the University Center on the McNichols Campus. The photo ID has multiple purposes, one of which is its service as the Detroit Mercy library card. The card must be activated in order for a student or faculty member to be able to check out library resources. To activate a card at the Check Out & Customer Service Desk:

• Full time faculty present their UDM photo ID
• A student presents the UDM photo ID with a term validation sticker or bursar's receipt

Current part-time or adjunct faculty can obtain a library card by presenting a valid driver's license or pictured state ID card with their contract letter from the appropriate Dean or a letter of introduction from their department chairperson or Dean printed on University stationery

The charge for replacing a UDM photo ID card at the Titan Information Center is $20.00.
