Both the McNichols campus library and the Dental Library have public workstations for Internet access; the workstations also have Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point.

As of September 2007, the following equipment is available:

• McNichols Campus Library: 53 Internet and Microsoft Office workstations; 2 digital scanners
• Dental Library: 18 Internet and Microsoft Office workstations located in a computer lab inside the library; 1 digital scanner

The workstations give full access to the library catalog, to a wide variety of full text and abstract databases covering all disciplines, various reference databases and online reference books, and to weekly newsfeeds by discipline.
